Based on our many years as a professional small animal veterinary practice, we generally recommend the following procedures with introductory and Annual Wellness exams.
Canines:
New puppy visit
- First visit exam with vaccines
- Fecal exam
- Deworming
- Free Frontline and Heartgard samples at your first visit!
(Puppies may need additional booster vaccines.)
Annual Wellness visit
- Annual exam with vaccines
- Fecal exam
- Heartworm test (every other year if on heartworm prevention year round)
(Our doctors may discuss other lab recommendations depending on your pet’s breed, age, and weight.)
Felines:
New kitten visit
- First visit exam with vaccines
- Fecal exam
- Deworming
- Felv/FIV testing
- Revolution (parasite prevention)
(Kittens may need additional booster vaccines.)
Annual Wellness visit:
- Annual exam with vaccines
- Fecal exam
