Recommendations

Based on our many years as a professional small animal veterinary practice, we generally recommend the following procedures with introductory and Annual Wellness exams.

Canines:

New puppy visit

  • First visit exam with vaccines
  • Fecal exam
  • Deworming
  • Free Frontline and Heartgard samples at your first visit!

(Puppies may need additional booster vaccines.)

Annual Wellness visit

  • Annual exam with vaccines
  • Fecal exam
  • Heartworm test (every other year if on heartworm prevention year round)

(Our doctors may discuss other lab recommendations depending on your pet’s breed, age, and weight.)

Felines:

New kitten visit

  • First visit exam with vaccines
  • Fecal exam
  • Deworming
  • Felv/FIV testing
  • Revolution (parasite prevention)

(Kittens may need additional booster vaccines.)

Annual Wellness visit:

  • Annual exam with vaccines
  • Fecal exam

(Our doctors may discuss other lab recommendations depending on your pets breed, age, and weight.)
