If you've been to our website, you've probably seen something called the Veterinary Care Foundation. What is that exactly? π€π€ The Veterinary Care Foundation (VCF) is not-for-profit charitable foundation created for the specific purpose of helping veterinary practices provide care to pet owners in financial crisis. Thanks to your donations, we are able to help families and their pets with medical expenses in times of hardship.π©ΊπΆ Seuss was brought into Highland by a good Samaritan after having found her dangling from a car door by one of her back legs. She was brought in sitting inside of a hat and was promptly named Cat in the Hat by our staff, but then became Seuss. βΊοΈ When she was brought in, due to the necrotic state of her leg, it was determined that her back left leg needed to be amputated. ππ«£ But have no fear this lady is strong! πͺI watched her over a long weekend so she could get medications, and my family fell in love with her and decided we needed to make her a part of our family. ππ VCF fund was able to help pay for her amputation and care during her recovery. She is the sweetest, smartest and MOST mischievous little lady. ππ€ͺ She is deemed "the brains of the operation" as she gets her siblings in trouble and acts like she's no part of it. π She loves to chase her mouse toys, (she even plays fetch!) eat everyone else's treats and snuggle with her best friend Riley. π₯°
